Naoki loves Hokkaido so much that he moved here permanently from Tokyo 17 years ago. He created and launched the website “Hokkaido Taiken,” which connects over 1300 activities and their guides all across Hokkaido to visitors coming to the island. He visits guides every day to experience their activities and help them develop their products, with a personal experience total of over 500 activities. His favorite activities are kayaking, dog sledding, and snowmobiling.
In his free time Naoki loves taking his beloved dog along on drives across Hokkaido!
Taiki was born and raised in Hokkaido. He spent his childhood playing in the forests, and when he grew up he became an outdoor guide in Niseko and other areas. He wants to introduce guests to the incredible guides working throughout Hokkaido while showing visitors to the island the beautiful and ever-changing scenery.
In his free time, Taiki likes to go camping, fishing, and on long drives in search of seasonal delicacies and foods across Hokkaido.
Jordan is originally from Texas, USA, but she moved to rural Hokkaido in the early 2010’s. It was not her plan to stay long-term in Hokkaido, but she fell in love and has been here ever since. She believes that Hokkaido is simply amazing, and she wants to help local guides and dosanko (the Japanese word for people from Hokkaido) share the passion they all feel with visitors to this island.
In her free time, Jordan enjoys snowboarding on Hokkaido’s legendary japow, finding new local onsens, and recently painting (not particularly skillfully, yet) the ever-changing and beautiful landscapes of the island.
