Shiraoi Town, home to the brandname “Shiraoi Beef” and the Ainu-themed national center “Upopoy.” This is a beautiful area with many waterfalls.
A frozen waterfall is created when water from a waterfall freezes in the cold. Let’s go see this ice art that is unique to Hokkaido’s winter with a local mountain guide!
After the frozen waterfall tour, enjoy a lunch of carefully selected premium yakiniku from Tokuju Farm’s restaurant KANTO brand “Shiraoi Tokuju Wagyu” and a dessert made with strawberries picked at the farm.
After the meal, play in the snow at Tokuju Farm’s Snow Land, which opened this winter! You can enjoy snow rafting, tubing, bubble ball, snow soccer, and more.

- From Sapporo IC, take the Hokkaido Longitudinal Expressway/ Do-o Expressway
- Get off at the Shiraoi IC Exit
- Go to Tokuju Farm Restaurant KANTO
What to Bring & Wear
- Cold weather gear- warm and easy-to-move-in clothes
- Snowwear tops and bottoms, light down jacket, or similar wear
- Cold weather gloves are a must. Ski or snowboard gloves are also acceptable.
- Waterproof trekking shoes, boots, or snow boots with thick socks.
- Knit hat
- Sunglasses or snow goggles
