Then, accompanied by your local guide, we’ll head to a nearby park boasting a thrilling, snow-covered slope. This isn’t just for the kids – adults will rediscover the simple joy of sledding down the snowy hill! - 9:20: Meet with Sapporo Explorers at under the Sapporo TV tower.
- 9:30-10:20: Move to a workshop studio and make your sled.
You will make a rice bag sled. When people buy rice in a plastic bag, they usually then put the rice in a rice box. Children use the empty rice bag and old news paper to create their sleds to play in the snow. It’s simple enough to make your sled with the guide’s easy instructions. - 10:20: Go to a local park with your sled by the Sapporo subway line
- 10:30-10:40: Before taking the subway, let’s stop by a convenience store to get some onigiri rice balls to enjoy
- 11:00-12:30 Arrive at a park and play.
Before you start, the guide will give you a lecture on how to play and keep you safe. After playing in the snow, you can take a break with onigiri rice balls. - 12:30: Leave the local park.
Going back to Odori Station by the subway. - 13:00: Tours ends at Odori Station
