  • Even though it was raining we were able to tour the Five Lakes.

We participated as a family of 1st graders and 5th graders. We moved forward slowly while listening to an explanation of the ecology of bears and the origins of the Five Lakes. Thanks to the guide, we were able to find bear claw marks and droppings that we would have missed on our own, and we were given tips on where to take photos. Unfortunately, it was raining, but we were glad to have participated because we could hear about the good things about the Five Lakes in the rain. The guide was a friendly woman. • Shiretoko Five Lakes

The weather was very good and my visit to the Shiretoko Goko with the instructor became a fond memory. There were only two of us, so I never got bored listening to all kinds of stories. I was also very grateful that he understood travelers and kindly took photos of us at every place we went. Thank you very much. If I had to say one thing, I was a little disappointed that he never sent me the photos he had taken himself, as I was looking forward to seeing them. (This review has been machine translated)
