This is an experience of old-fashioned living, where you make a fire and cook the wild vegetables you pick. There are many kinds of wild plants in each season… can you eat them? Are they poisonous? Measures against bears- a question we often get
We’ve been doing this experience for 30 years, but we’ve never encountered a bear.
Of course, when entering the mountains and fields, we take measures to avoid encountering bears, such as ringing a bell or whistling to let the bear know our location. If a bear approaches, we will use bear spray.
If you wish, we will give you a lecture on how to protect yourself from bears, bees, poisonous plants, etc. before the experience.
