Rafting on the Adventure Family raft is a lot of fun, even with splashing and pushing each other into the water!! Let's have fun in the great outdoors!

Tour Company

In 1993, "Boken Kazoku" (Adventure Family) was opened in an old abandoned school building. The wooden walls, corridors, and ceilings of the school building are reminiscent of former days. Currently, the classrooms are used as restaurants and accommodations, and there is also a gymnasium, hearth hut, and Goemon bath, where you can enjoy lifestyle and nature experiences that make the most of Niseko's nature.
Company Name: Natural Life Learning Center Boken Kazoku

We participated as a family. First, we built the raft. It wasn't made to order, but we started from scratch, so it felt more like an adventure than a tourist trip. The raft is close to the water's surface, so it has a sense of realism that you can't get with other companies' rubber boats. The staff are used to dealing with children and have a playful side, and of course they manage safety as professionals. I'm really glad I found such a conscientious company.   (This review has been machine translated)
  • One of a kind

I participated with my daughter, a fourth-grader in elementary school. Together with the guide, we built the raft ourselves, drove it to the river, and climbed in. It was a very hot day for Hokkaido, but the water in the river was clean and cold, and it felt great to swim and just relax. All you could see was the river, the trees, and the mountains. Above all, we grew attached to the raft we built ourselves, and there was also the thrill of wondering if it was really okay! It was fun! My daughter had a blast. It was a unique experience, different from rafting.   (This review has been machine translated)
  • A sense of accomplishment!

I love Niseko and have done rafting and ducky riding before, but this was my first time going down the river on a raft. At first glance, it looked easy to make, but if you don't tie it tightly with strings, it will fall apart... The raft is thrilling, as it feels like you're sitting almost on the water! On the way, we splashed water on each other and jumped in, having a blast♪ Our raft almost broke, but we managed to reach the finish line safely. I love the raft we made with our own hands. The guide's stories were interesting and it was a lot of fun!   (This review has been machine translated)

  • Return to childhood

In late July, I participated with my mother (in her 70s) and two sons in their second and third years of high school. It was actually my first time playing in the river. The instructor is a nature lover himself, and he taught me how to enjoy playing in the river. My two sons were at a difficult age to open up to when we first met, but when they melted into the river, they were beaming with smiles. I still vividly remember the world that spread out before us as we were on the raft, and the splendor of the sky that we looked up at while surrendering ourselves to the flow of the river. It was fun! It was a truly wonderful adventure. I will never forget how cold the water was at that time (laughs). I'm sure the fun of the river remained in the hearts of my sons as they shook hands and said goodbye. Building your own raft makes playing in the river even more fun. I am grateful for this project. To all the staff, I hope you stay healthy forever ☆ Thank you very much.   (This review has been machine translated)
