Enjoy a graceful cruise on the tranquil Lake Kuttara on a stand up paddle board (SUP). Lake Kuttara is tucked away in the mountains of Shiraoi, and is a transparent, mystical lake that competes with Lake Mashu, Japan’s clearest.
You’re surrounded by nature on all sides, with the only structures being the lakeside facilities, so there are no roads or people to be seen, creating an overwhelmingly special feeling. Being so close to the water gives you a totally different perspective rather than riding in a kayak or boat.
Jumping into the crystal clear water of Lake Kuttara will purify your body and mind!

Notes
- Wearing a lifejacket is mandatory.
- Please come to the agreed place on time. If you are late on the day of the tour, we might cancel your reservation.
- Please follow all of the instructions of the tour guide, as there are risks in outdoor tours. Please also understand that the guide cannot be held personally responsible for any accidents caused by the customer’s intentional or negligent acts.
- Please understand that you are responsible for any accidents or incidents that may occur during the tour that occurs outside of negligence by the guide.
- If the tour cannot proceed due to heavy rain, lightning, wind, or blizzard, we will cancel the tour and inform you.
- The tour may be cancelled midway for safety or other reasons at the discretion of the guide.
- The tour may be canceled suddenly without prior notice due to a sudden deterioration of weather. Safety first.
- The tour will proceed in case of light rain.
- This is a water activity. Please proceed with the assumption that you will get wet.
- Guests who are pregnant or have been drinking alcohol cannot participate.
- Any actions that cause inconvenience to other customers or interfere with the tour will be deemed unsafe and the tour will be immediately canceled. In that case, we will not be able to provide any refunds.
- We will make a decision on the morning of the day at the experience site. In the event of cancellation, we will contact you 2 hours before the start time.
Cancellation / Changes
- A cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled on the day of the event or in case of a no-show
- A cancellation fee of 80% is charged if cancelled 1 day or less before the event
- A cancellation fee of 50% is charged if cancelled 2 days or less before the event
