Board a sightseeing boat from the Toyako Onsen Pier! This is a 3.2km light walking path around the Nakajima Island in the middle of Lake Toya.
Walk at a leisurely pace while observing your surroundings. This island, which was formed approximately 45,000 to 50,000 years ago, is full of interesting and mysterious things. Although it is slightly inclined, you walk slowly along a boardwalk covered with wood chips, so anyone in good health can do it. If you walk slowly and quietly, blending into the forest, the animals might even come out to see you.
This is a deserted island trek that you can enjoy while being soothed by the scent of the trees.
