Experience the pristine beauty of Lake Kuttara, Japan’s second clearest lake, on an unforgettable kayaking adventure! Nestled near Noboribetsu Onsen within the Shikotsu-Toya National Park, this secret caldera lake boasts unparalleled water clarity and visibility down to 17 meters.
We will kayak along the picturesque shores, where turquoise waters meet lush forests, rolling hills, and dramatic volcanic peaks. With no footpaths surrounding the lake and only one access road to the start point, enjoy the unique tranquility of this secluded oasis.
Our tour includes a relaxing stop at a sandy beach- your private haven for swimming, exploration, and soaking in the breathtaking scenery. We’ll provide refreshments and a snack as you have a chance to enjoy the stunning beauty of Lake Kuttara. Finally, we’ll paddle back to our starting point, concluding our trip. Join us for a kayaking experience that combines adventure with untouched beauty!

8:00: Pick-up in Noboribetsu
8:30-9:00: Prepare equipment and safety briefing.
9:00-10:00: Kayak around Lake Kuttara.
10:00-10:45: Arrive at beach. Swim or relax. Have a drink and snack prepared by your guide.
10:45-11:30: Kayak back to the start
11:30-12:00: Drive back to Noboribetsu and finish

- If the tour cannot proceed due to heavy rain, lightning, wind, or blizzard, we will cancel the tour and inform you.
