    • Must-do winter activities

I participated with four friends. We took turns running with the dogs over the course of about 7km. It was really cute to see them pulling the sled as they ran, and we were also able to enjoy the snowy scenery unique to Hokkaido, so we were very satisfied. We also had photos and videos taken, which became good memories. This is an activity that is easily affected by the weather, snow conditions, and the condition of the dogs, but I think it's a must-have experience in Hokkaido in the winter. It was really fun. Thank you very much.   (This review has been machine translated into English)

      • It was great

We participated as a family of four. Unfortunately it was a rainy day when we participated, but we still had fun. One of the guides only spoke English, but I remember him trying his best to speak to us in broken Japanese mixed with English. He was very kind to us and we had a lot of fun!   (This review has been machine translated into English)
      • It was such a fun experience!!!

We participated as a couple in January 2018. On this website, it said "out of period program", but when I searched online, I found Facebook, and was able to contact them through the request form and make a reservation. They took our schedule into consideration and were very kind and sincere in their response. From Asahikawa Station, we moved while alternately looking at the detailed bus directions in English on Facebook and the directions on this Japanese website, and it was very smooth until we met the wife who came to pick us up at the bus stop. As soon as I saw the super energetic dogs in the fluffy new snow, I was so happy! After receiving a lecture on the one-person sled from the husband and wife, we set off nervously, but the dog team was professional and there were no problems at all! I was so moved!! I was amazed that something I saw at a veterinary clinic a long time ago and was surprised that it could be done in Japan, and now I'm doing it! I was so excited, so happy, and having fun that I felt even more excited and it ended in a flash than it actually was. The photos and videos that his wife took were sent to us immediately, and we are immersed in these sparkling memories. Thanks to the strong relationship of trust between the wonderful couple and their dogs, we were able to have a fun, safe and valuable experience in the great outdoors. It was a truly satisfying experience. Thank you very much.   (This review has been machine translated into English)
      • Sorry.

This is my honest opinion, so I'll be harsh. I was told that the tour was not introduced on any website this season, so I contacted them directly, but when I first told them the desired date, I was asked to provide my personal information. I made a reservation request as instructed by the other party, but I never received a reply after that, and I was feeling frustrated without a set travel date. I was able to get through on the phone, so I said, "I would like to be notified whether my reservation is possible because there may be cancellations of flights and hotels," but I was told that it was a threat. I had not received a reply to my previous inquiries, so it was one-sided, but I tried to listen humbly. However, since the reviews only say bad things, I think it would be the best tour if you could actually experience it. The owner said that he would select people in advance to see if they were suitable for him, so it may be recommended for people who have time and can wait patiently even if they do not receive a reply to the reservation.   This review has been machine translated into English)
      • It will be a memory that will last a lifetime.

When I heard that I could experience dog sledding in Hokkaido, I decided to take the plunge and sign up, even though I'm not the best at sports. It turned out to be a completely problem-free and enjoyable two hours. The sled, which the owner had made himself, turned corners beautifully with just a simple shift of weight, and best of all, the dogs, whom the couple treat with deep affection every day, looked like they were having a great time, even to me, an amateur. It's hard to put into words, but it felt like I was part of the strong bond of trust between the couple and their dogs, and it was a very heartwarming program. I would like to meet the couple and their dogs again.   (This review has been machine translated into English)
      • The #1 highlight of my trip to Hokkaido!

Thank you to the dogs, Murakami-san, and Danny-san for such a wonderful experience! Sledding as one with the dogs is something you can't experience anywhere else. I was amazed at the speed!! The smiles on the dogs' faces as they ran!! Laughing at their breaks!! I'd love to experience this again someday.   (This review has been machine translated into English)
      • I've never had such fun dog sledding before.

I was surprised by the authentic dog sledding. I felt like I was experiencing Antarctica. ☆ Everyone should try it at least once. The dogs will take you to a fascinating world.★   (This review has been machine translated into English)
      • It was my first time but I really enjoyed it

It was my first time, so I was worried about whether we could ride, but it was a lot of fun. My petite wife was quite nervous, but she was screaming and having a great time. My daughter seemed to have fun too, and says she wants to go again. We were blessed with good weather (although it was really cold lol) and the amazing scenery is a memory to cherish. Thank you. We'll come again, so please check me out.   (This review has been machine translated into English)
      • This is a truly Hokkaido experience!

I saw dog sledding on TV decades ago. The story was about how, with no experience at all for either the dogs or the humans, they trained together, tried and tested team composition, and finally completed the course after several days. I thought it was wonderful, but had given up on the idea of having such a difficult experience, but this time my dream came true! With the Moonlight Ladies dogsledding experience, even if you're a beginner, the dogs are professionals, so you can jump right in and ride. Feeling the dogs' breathing and body temperature as we raced through the pure white world together, it was so exhilarating that I forgot about the cold and everything else. Of course, I'm sure it was a difficult journey for the dogs to become professionals. Thank you so much to Murakami-san and Danny-san for creating such a wonderful experience menu.   (This review has been machine translated into English)
      • This should be in the Wii game!

I got to know Kyokowan from Moonlight Ladies through a local SNS. Of course, I got to try dog sledding. In one word, it was "too much fun!!" When you hear "dog sledding," you might imagine a human controlling a dog, but in reality, it's more like the human being is being pulled by the dog. The dogs were like, "We want to run, so we're running!!" Of course, it was my first time, but they took into consideration the number of dogs and the formation depending on the number of people and their body type (weight?). What's more, the snowmobile leads the way, so it's safe. Everyone from children to adults can enjoy it, even if it's their first time. I've been hooked on the balance game for the Wii lately, and I hope they'll include it in their balance game!!   (This review has been machine translated into English)
