Tour Highlights

An upcycling tour to harvest non-standard corn! Perfect for learning about sustainability. Not just for fun, but also learn!
Delicious freshly picked corn is excellent even if it is non-standard!! Harvest it yourself and eat it on the spot!
The corn fields continue on forever. Take a special photo of yourself in the scenery of Hokkaido!

When you think of Hokkaido in the summer, you think of sweet corn! Corn is affectionately called “toukibi” in the Hokkaido dialect.

This is a tour to rescue “substandard” corn that can’t be sold to supermarkets. Even though it is as sweet and juicy as normal corn, due to its shape or size it can’t be shipped to stores. Try this incredible corn and learn about sustainability in agriculture!

After graduating from Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, she worked at the Youth Nature Center, Hokkaido Nature Center, Tokachi Tourism Federation, and North Production before going independent in March 2012. Born in 1980, her hobbies are eating and raising children. She is from Sapporo and the mother of two children.

Harvesting may not be possible depending on weather. If it is not possible, the tour will be canceled.
The tour course may be changed suddenly without prior notice due to the weather.

If the tour cannot proceed due to heavy rain, lightning, wind, or blizzard, we will cancel the tour and inform you.
