Tour Highlights
Have you ever wanted to see the cherry blossoms from a canoe? Now’s your chance! Come enjoy canoeing on Lake Kussharo, a caldera lake formed by a volcanic eruption!
Natural “Ezoyamazakura” cherry trees grow on the Wakoto Peninsula, and in some years you can see cherry blossoms as early as early May. How about enjoying cherry blossom viewing on the lake in Hokkaido? Come explore Lake Kussharo’s Wakoto Peninsula by canoe!
The beautiful emerald green water is a site to behold. On a calm day we will row to the tip of the peninsula and head for Oyakotsu Jigoku, a hidden hot spring that can only be reached by water!
We hope you’ll experience the transparency of Lake Kussharo’s water, the power of the volcano, and the pleasant breeze!
