Discover Biei’s famed rolling hills, a testament to the hard work of its farmers. Rather than head to the crowded tourist spots, we’ll embark on a unique looping walk along public roads in a quiet part of town. This allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery and view the hills stretching toward the distant Tokachi Volcanic Group.
Witness the seasonal artistry of the fields. See precise patterns in spring as seeds are sown, the celebrated “patchwork” vibrance in summer, and a fiery display of reds and yellows in autumn. Our walk, approximately 4km, begins and ends at the same location, ensuring plenty of time to soak in the views before heading back to JR Biei Station.

- Ages 6 and older welcome
- Note that the fields we will be passing are private property. You will be told that you must not enter these fields. If you ignore this request and enter the fields regardless, the tour will be terminated on site and no refund will be given.
- Large farm vehicles may occasionally pass us by. Please yield the road to any farm vehicles for your own safety.
- The tour will proceed in case of rain.
- If the tour cannot proceed due to heavy rain, lightning, wind, or blizzard, we will cancel the tour and inform you.
- If you are feeling tired and wish to terminate the walk early, we will return to the car and go to JR Biei Station. Refunds cannot be given for experiences terminated partway through by your request.
- If you are concerned about participating due to chronic illnesses, health conditions, disabilities, or other reason, please consult us in the request column when applying.
- Please follow all of the instructions of the tour guide, as there are risks in outdoor tours. Please also understand that the guide cannot be held personally responsible for any accidents caused by the customer’s intentional or negligent acts.
- If you do not follow the guide’s instructions or the terms and conditions, you may be asked to leave the tour, as it may cause inconvenience to other participants. You may be asked to leave even in the middle of the tour. No refunds will be given in that case.
- Aggressive or threatening behaviour towards the guide or locals will not be tolerated.
