Why not try making a snow igloo and staying overnight? It's up to you to decide what kind of snow igloo you make. This is a program where you can make your own snow igloo in Niseko in the winter and stay overnight! It's surprisingly warm inside the snow.

Tour Company

In 1993, "Boken Kazoku" (Adventure Family) was opened in an old abandoned school building. The wooden walls, corridors, and ceilings of the school building are reminiscent of former days. Currently, the classrooms are used as restaurants and accommodations, and there is also a gymnasium, hearth hut, and Goemon bath, where you can enjoy lifestyle and nature experiences that make the most of Niseko's nature.

  • Romantic and authentic night in an Igloo

Really authentic experience with a passionate guide and really delicious special dinner! Adventurous but romantic and we didn’t had cold because of all the blankets and gear they provide. We were all alone so not touristic at all. Easy yo reach from Niseko. High quality experience, 100 percent recommended!

There is a reply from the tour operator!

Thank you very much for joining our Kamakura (snow hut) overnight experience, and for your wonderful and heartfelt review. On that day, the weather was not the best, with wet snow mixed with rain. However, it was truly impressive to see the two of you working together so enthusiastically to build your kamakura. In the end, you created a beautiful snow hut large enough for both of you to sleep in — and the heart-shaped design you made was especially creative and memorable. It was very touching for us to see. Nature experiences are never exactly the same, and sometimes the weather becomes part of the adventure. We are very happy that you embraced the moment and enjoyed the experience. We are also truly grateful for your kind words about the dinner. Your appreciation means a lot to us and encourages us to continue sharing these special experiences with our guests. We hope to welcome you again someday in another season. It would be our great pleasure to see you both again. Thank you very much. Keizo Anan Adventure Family (Boken Kazoku) Niseko, Hokkaido
  • Kamakura (≧▽≦) fun~

I participated with my daughter. As we were two women, I was a bit worried (Will we be able to make it? Will it be cold?), but there were no problems at all! With the help of the staff (thank you very much!), we were able to make a snow igloo that we could sleep in properly! With two sleeping bags layered on top of each other, we didn't feel cold and it was a valuable experience. The food was also delicious. Next time, I would like to make a larger, wider snow igloo (^^♪   (This review has been machine translated into English)
