Many wild birds fly to Okhotsk throughout the year and rest their wings near the water. Among them, the most eye-catching are the white-tailed sea eagle and the Steller’s sea eagle. With a wingspan of over two meters, they exude a majestic and regal presence.

Meeting Location
We provide free pick-up service from the Abashiri area (hotels, JR Abashiri Station, or the Abashiri Michi-noEki).

What to Bring & Wear
- Cold weather gear- warm and easy-to-move-in clothes
- Snow wear tops and bottoms, light down jacket, or similar wear
- Cold weather gloves are a must. Ski or snowboard gloves are also acceptable.
- Waterproof trekking shoes, boots, or snow boots with thick socks.
- Knit hat
- Sunglasses or snow goggles
