Ice waterfalls are formed when water from a waterfall freezes in the cold.
Go see these works of ice art that are unique to Hokkaido’s winters with a local mountain guide!
After the ice waterfall tour, enjoy a yakiniku lunch of Tokuju Farm’s Restaurant KANTO brand “Shiraoi Tokuju Wagyu Beef” and a dessert made with strawberries picked on the farm.

- About 60 minutes by express train from JR Sapporo Station
- About 20 minutes by the free shuttle bus from “JR Shiraoi Station” to Tokuju Farm Restaurant KANTO
By car:
- From Sapporo IC, take the Hokkaido Longitudinal Expressway/ Do-o Expressway
- Get off at the Shiraoi IC Exit
- Go to Tokuju Farm Restaurant KANTO
What to Bring & Wear
- Cold weather gear- warm and easy-to-move-in clothes
- Snowwear tops and bottoms, light down jacket, or similar wear
- Cold weather gloves are a must. Ski or snowboard gloves are also acceptable.
- Waterproof trekking shoes, boots, or snow boots with thick socks.
- Knit hat
- Sunglasses or snow goggles
Rental wear is available.

10:20-12:00- Frozen waterfall tour
12:00-13:40- Lunch/playing in the snow (12:00-13:40)
13:40- Shuttle bus to JR Shiraoi Station or Upopoy- arrives around 14:00
14:08 Train for JR Sapporo Station departs (arrives at 15:11)
For those going to Upopoy:
- 16:22 depart JR Shiraoi Station→ 17:30 arrival at JR Sapporo Station
- 17:11 depart JR Shiraoi Station→ 18:16 arrival at JR Sapporo Station
For those meeting on site:
Please come to Tokuju Farm Restaurant KANTO at 10:00. After lunch, you can stay in Snowland until closing time at 4:00 p.m.

- The tour dates may be changed or cancelled if there is not enough snow due to unseasonal weather or other reasons.
