[By car]

• ~4 hours from Sapporo
• ~2.5 hours from Asahikawa.
• From Asahikawa, get off the Do-o Expressway at Shibetsu Kenbuchi Interchange and follow National Route 40 towards Bifuka. Get off the national highway at Bifuka IC and follow Route 49 towards Niupu

[By bus]

• From Sapporo, take the Soya Bus “Intercity Bus Esashi-go” and it will take 3 hours to Bifuka. There is one bus per day.

[By train]

• The nearest station is Bifuka Station on the Soya Main Line. The shortest route is 4 hours from Sapporo and 2 hours from Asahikawa.
• There are few buses, so be careful when transferring!
• From Bifuka Station, there is the Meishi Bus “Niufuku Line Demand Bus”. If you say “To Tonto”, you will be dropped off in front of Tonto! There are 5 departures per day.

What to Bring & Wear

• Cold weather gear- warm and easy-to-move-in clothes
• Snowwear tops and bottoms, light down jacket, or similar wear
• Cold weather gloves are a must. Ski or snowboard gloves are also acceptable.
• Waterproof trekking shoes, boots, or snow boots with thick socks.
• Knit hat
• Sunglasses or snow goggles

Rentals are available for winter jacket and pants, gloves, and boots. Please write in the request form if you need rentals.
