Spectacular views! Experience downhill riding on an e-bike (electrically assisted bicycle) from Bihoro Pass, overlooking Lake Kussharo, a caldera lake in Akan National Park
Go kayaking on the Wakoto Peninsula, where hot springs gush forth before landing at Oyakotsu Jigoku
Enjoy a special homemade lunch made with locally produced ingredients on the shores of Lake Kussharo
Cycle through farming, mountain, and fishing villages on an e-bike to Sunayu, where you can enjoy a foot bath
The goal is cycling to Mount Iou, a geopark where you can feel the heartbeat of the earth

Tour Company

We opened our base facility, Connectrip, on the auspicious day of July 8th, 2019 (Reiwa 1). Our aim is to create a new way of traveling. We want every trip we make to connect Abashiri, located within a quasi-national park, to the people who support the local industries in the surrounding areas, the current state of the evolving industries, the history, folklore, and tourist destinations of the region, and our guests.

Itinerary

8:15- Meet at Connectrip
Downhill cycling from the spectacular Bihoro Pass. Cycling through Hokkaido’s farming areas. E-bike distance: 40km
Kayaking from Wakoto Peninsula, then lunch. Kayaking experience: ~1 hour total
Cycling through the forest to Sunayu, finishing at Mt. Iou
17:30- Trip ends at Connectrip

Notes

The tour will proceed in case of rain.
If the tour cannot proceed due to heavy rain, lightning, wind, or blizzard, we will cancel the tour and inform you.
The tour may be cancelled midway for safety or other reasons at the discretion of the guide. In such cases, no refunds will be given.
Depending on the season, there may be a large number of wasps and horseflies. Please bring insect repellent spray.

Cancellation / Changes

A cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled on the day of the event or in case of a no-show
A cancellation fee of 50% is charged if cancelled 1 day or less before the event
