A tent specially designed for smelt fishing! You can enjoy fishing comfortably even on snowy and windy days.Even if you are new to fishing, you can enjoy it with peace of mind as the guide will give you careful instructions on how to fish.
You will start with drilling your own fishing hole before you start. It’s a little difficult, but a lot of fun! The smelt you will fish from the clear water are delicious when fried as tempura on the spot. Have fun with your family or friends and compete to see who can catch the most!
Lunch is included. Have a warm and delicious lunch, and if you want you can go to a nearby onsen to warm up too!

- Cold weather gear- warm and easy-to-move-in clothes
- Snowwear tops and bottoms, light down jacket, or similar wear
- Cold weather gloves are a must. Ski or snowboard gloves are also acceptable.
- Waterproof trekking shoes, boots, or snow boots with thick socks.
- Knit hat

13:15- Smelt fishing experience continues. Smelt tempura tasting
15:00- Smelt fishing experience ends. Disband

Notes
- If the tour cannot proceed due to heavy rain, lightning, wind, or blizzard, we will cancel the tour and inform you.
- The tour dates may be changed or cancelled if there is not enough snow due to unseasonal weather or other reasons.
- The tour may be cancelled midway for safety or other reasons at the discretion of the guide.
- Please follow all of the instructions of the tour guide, as there are risks in outdoor tours. Please also understand that the guide cannot be held personally responsible for any accidents caused by the customer’s intentional or negligent acts.
- You are responsible for your children.
- We recommend that guests who are pregnant and very small children do not participate.
- There may be cases where you are unable to catch fish due to weather or timing, but there will be no refunds. Thank you for your understanding.
- You may be required to pay for any intentional damage or loss of rental equipment.
- Guests who are pregnant or have been drinking alcohol cannot participate.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the tents.
Cancellation / Changes
- A cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled after the start of the event or in case of a no-show
- A cancellation fee of 50% is charged if cancelled on the day of, before the start of the event
- A cancellation fee of 40% is charged if cancelled 1 day or less before the event
- A cancellation fee of 30% is charged if cancelled 7 days or less before the event
- A cancellation fee of 20% is charged if cancelled 10 days or less before the event
