Snow cabbage that has been sugared all the way to the core. It's delicious.
Come and enjoy some of La Collina's special sausages. They'll warm you up. (If the weather's good, we'll have a snow lunch.)
In addition to winter cabbage, this whole Furano pot-au-feu also contains Furano vegetables such as onions and carrots, as well as potatoes from Endo Farm.
Once you've warmed up with pot-au-feu, you can also enjoy sledding! Endo Farm's vast fields are a playground for children, with endless snowy fields.

Did you know? This is a method of storing vegetables unique to snowy regions. Sometimes, at our local supermarket, we see potatoes sold under the name “well-rested potatoes.” These are potatoes that have been left to rest over winter. In fact, leaving potatoes to rest increases their sugar content and makes them more soft. But what about other vegetables?
Are potatoes the only vegetables that overwinter?
How do they overwinter?
What do farmers do in the winter? Do farmers overwinter too??
Come visit a farm, dig for vegetables, and learn about how we survive the winter in Hokkaido!

What to Bring & Wear
- Cold weather gear- warm and easy-to-move-in clothes
- Snowwear tops and bottoms, light down jacket, or similar wear
- Cold weather gloves are a must. Ski or snowboard gloves are also acceptable.
- Waterproof trekking shoes, boots, or snow boots with thick socks.
- Knit hat
- If you do not have your own gear, some rentals are available. Please contact us.

- Itinerary
10:00- Meet at Endo Farm. Experience digging up overwintered cabbage and tasting. If you choose not to have lunch, the experience will end here and you will be dismissed.
If the weather is nice, you can take a walk in the fields of Endo Farm on “Wakanjiki (Japanese snowshoes)”. Enjoy an outdoor lunch while sledding on the snowy terrain!
If unfortunately, due to bad weather or other reasons, we are unable to have an outdoor lunch, we will move to a nearby indoor location for lunch (this will be decided on the day).
