Put on snowshoes and take a leisurely stroll on the midwinter snow.
The Notoro Peninsula is a place where untouched nature still remains strong and vibrant.
This snowshoe tour will be to see the “hyobaku,” the ice waterfall that develops like art each winter. It changes shape every year, captivating all who see it.
Take a long walk on snowshoes while admiring wild animals and their footprints, and the Sea of Okhotsk where the drift ice rolls in.
Take a break with a special hot drink in the middle of nature. If conditions are good, you may even be able to ride on the drift ice in February.
Your guide will guide you for a full two hours.

- Cold weather gear- warm and easy-to-move-in clothes
- Snowwear tops and bottoms, light down jacket, or similar wear
- Cold weather gloves are a must. Ski or snowboard gloves are also acceptable.
- Waterproof trekking shoes, boots, or snow boots with thick socks.
- Knit hat
