The “Shisoraputi River” in the upper reaches of the Sorachi River that flows through Furano is said to be derived from the Ainu word “So-rap-chi” (= waterfalls falling here and there).
There are almost no man-made objects such as houses around the river, making it the perfect environment for enjoying rafting in nature. The water is very clear and clean, so you can jump into the river or float around while rafting.
You will be given a thorough safety explanation in advance and accompanied by a professional multinational guide, so you can join with ease that you are in good hands.
