Tour Highlights
- Enjoy the spectacular views of central Sapporo, the Sea of Japan, the Ishikari Plain, and, if the weather is good, Mt. Tokachi and Mt. Yubari while trying out telemark turns on the fluffy powder snow!
- Try the Sapporo Olympic course or the famous north face course.
The telemark staff of Yuichiro Miura & Snow Dolphin Ski School, an SIA-certified ski school who knows Teine inside and out, will help participants improve by choosing courses that suit their skill level.
From steep slopes such as the 1972 Sapporo Olympics men’s and women’s slalom and the women’s giant slalom course, to a gentle natural course approximately 6 km long, this is a great chance to begin telemarking or improve your skills!

There are buses to Teine Highlands from JR Sapporo Station and JR Teine Station.

Rental equipment is available at the resort. If you want to rent equipment, we have other plans available.

- If the tour cannot proceed due to heavy rain, lightning, wind, or blizzard, we will cancel the tour and inform you.
- The tour dates may be changed or cancelled if there is not enough snow due to unseasonal weather or other reasons.
- The tour may be cancelled midway for safety or other reasons at the discretion of the guide.
- Please follow all of the instructions of the tour guide, as there are risks in outdoor tours. Please also understand that the guide cannot be held personally responsible for any accidents caused by the customer’s intentional or negligent acts.
- Guests who are pregnant or have been drinking alcohol cannot participate.
- If there are two or more people participating, we ask that people have a similar skill level. If there are different skill levels, the content will be tailored to the person with the lowest skill level.
Cancellation / Changes
- A cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled on the day of the event or in case of a no-show
- A cancellation fee of 80% is charged if cancelled 1 day or less before the event
- A cancellation fee of 50% is charged if cancelled 3 days or less before the event
- A cancellation fee of 30% is charged if cancelled 6 days or less before the event
