Chill out in Hokkaido!
We offer highly satisfying tours to customers from Japan and abroad that can be enjoyed all year round, such as cycling, forest Nordic walking, snowshoeing, and smelt fishing.
When you arrive at the fishing spot, set up a tent and drill a hole in the ice with a special drill. If you wish, you can also experience drilling a hole.
You will be guided by a friendly guide who is skilled in the outdoors, who will carefully teach you the tips and tricks of fishing and support you. Even if you are new to fishing, you can rest assured. If the weather is good, it is also fun to go outside and try fishing.
During the tour, we will serve hot drinks such as mulled wine, chai tea, and cocoa for children in Nordic interior wooden cups.
Enjoy the smelt you caught by frying them in tempura.

- Cold weather gear- warm and easy-to-move-in clothes
- Snowwear tops and bottoms, light down jacket, or similar wear
- Cold weather gloves are a must. Ski or snowboard gloves are also acceptable.
- Waterproof trekking shoes, boots, or snow boots with thick socks.

- 08:45-09:00- Pick up at your hotel in central Sapporo, or at the nearest station
- ~09:30- Arrive at fishing spot, change clothes, rent boots, blankets.
After changing clothes, move to fishing spot - 10:00- 11:45- Experience ice fishing for smelt on the Barato River and try smelt tempura
- ~12:30- Drop off at the north exit of Sapporo Station, disband
[PM Course]
- 12:50-13:00- Pick up at the north exit of Sapporo Station
- ~13:30- Arrive at fishing spot, change clothes, rent boots, blankets.
After changing clothes, move to fishing spot - 14:00 – 15:45- Experience ice fishing for smelt on the Barato River and try smelt tempura

- If the tour cannot proceed due to heavy rain, lightning, wind, or blizzard, we will cancel the tour and inform you.
- The tour dates may be changed or cancelled if there is not enough snow or ice due to unseasonal weather or other reasons.
- The tour may be cancelled midway for safety or other reasons at the discretion of the guide.
- Please follow all of the instructions of the tour guide, as there are risks in outdoor tours. Please also understand that the guide cannot be held personally responsible for any accidents caused by the customer’s intentional or negligent acts.

- A cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled on the day of the event or in case of a no-show
