Smelt are small fish that thrive in Hokkaido’s cold water environment. In winter, a fishing spot is set up on a frozen lake, allowing anyone to safely experience fishing. Even if you have no experience, don’t worry. This tour will take you to the Barato River near Sapporo. A cozy tent will be set up on the ice, with holes pre-drilled, so you can start fishing immediately after arrival.
