Your backcountry guides are professional adventure ski experts
They will take you to hidden spots where you can enjoy powder snow

Enjoy the powder snow of Sapporo on this expert guided ski tour. The hike up will take about 1 to 2 hours, and you will ski down towards deep powder snow.

Please be sure to bring lunch! We plan to return to the starting point of the climb between 2 and 3 PM so you can return to your accommodation in apporo.

The snow quality is the best in Japan! Powder skiing is all about the tension and exhilaration of making split-second turns.

This is a special tour where you can enjoy powder snow to your heart’s content close to Sapporo

Anyone who is at an intermediate level or above, loves skiing, and wants to try powder skiing is welcome. Please consult us if you are uncertain of your skiing or snowboarding level.
Backcountry equipment (skins, snowshoes, helmet, backpack, beacon, etc.) is required

Yoshimasa Wada, a professional skier who grew up in Hokkaido, trained on Mount Daisetsu, and has taken on adventures around the world, will guide you to the powder routes of your dreams. Tour Company

He was born and raised in a heavy snow area deep in the mountains of Hokkaido. As a child, it was his daily routine to ski six hours a day. At the age of 21, he became a professional skier, and at the age of 26, he became the first person in Japan to successfully ski down from 3,600 meters on rock skis on Mt. Fuji. In 1985, his first international stage was the Matterhorn in Switzerland. Through his adventures he hops to raise awareness for environmental protection and preventing global warming.

If the tour cannot proceed due to heavy rain, lightning, wind, or blizzard, we will cancel the tour and inform you.
The tour dates may be changed or cancelled if there is not enough snow due to unseasonal weather or other reasons.
The tour may be cancelled midway for safety or other reasons at the discretion of the guide.
Please follow all of the instructions of the tour guide, as there are risks in outdoor tours. Please also understand that the guide cannot be held personally responsible for any accidents caused by the customer’s intentional or negligent acts.
Guests who are pregnant or have been drinking alcohol cannot participate.

Cancellation / Changes

A cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled after the start of the event or in case of a no-show
A cancellation fee of 50% is charged if cancelled on the day of, before the start of the event
A cancellation fee of 40% is charged if cancelled 1 day or less before the event
